Lace up those sneakers for our second annual Strollinā for the Colon 5K Run/Walk, Saturday, March 28th, 2020! This event not only helps you get your steps in for the day, but also raises awareness about colorectal cancer and the importance of colon cancer screenings. Prevention is key, as colon cancer is 90% preventable and 90% treatable. After all, March IS colon cancer awareness month. What better way to celebrate!?

If that wasnāt reason enough, you will have some great photo opportunities to commemorate the day as you begin and finish the race through our very unique GIANT SUPER INFLATABLE COLON TUNNEL, which measures 10 feet tall, 13 feet wide, and 20 feet long. Just think of the fun pictures you can share on social media! #kmcstrollinforthecolon
Meet us at MacLennan Park Trail, located off 6th Ave and Governors Lake Rd in Topeka, KS. Make sure to wear appropriate attire for the pea rock gravel trail and pavement sidewalk (and of course for this unpredictable Kansas weather). The fun begins at 8:30 am sharp! Any last-minute packet pickup or registration will start at 7:45 am and go until race time.

Registration cost is $20. Colon cancer survivors receive FREE registration. Contact Taylor at tcowen@kmcpa.com or 785-295-0917 for details. Survivors MUST register to participate.
We canāt wait to see each and every one of your faces on race day! We truly appreciate your support in raising colon cancer awareness within the Topeka community and surrounding areas throughout Northeast Kansas. All of the proceeds of the event go to benefit the American Cancer Society of Kansas.
What are you waiting for? Register today!

So glad to see the Strollin' for the Colon 5K is back! It's such a fantastic event for a great cause, and running through that giant inflatable colon is always memorable. Iām starting to prep my walking shoes this week. Whenever I take a breather from training or just need to rest my legs, I usually wind down by playing a few casual games on minigameĀ to relax. Can't wait for race day!
Excited for the Strollin' for the Colon 5K! It's a great way to support colorectal cancer awareness and get active. Plus, I can't wait for those fun photo ops. Check out trees hate you for more on the importance of prevention!
Reading about the Strollin for the Colon 5K run/walk highlights how community health events can reset perspective, and after attending similar initiatives I often shift into planning and digital opportunities. One evening after a charity walk I explored crypto tools and through https://paybis.com/buy-astar-parachain-with-astropay/Ā found a best of simple way to access Astar, which surprisingly mirrored the discipline of training for a run. It connected physical resilience with financial exploration in a structured way.
Great to see KMCās Strollinā for the Colon 5K Run/WalkĀ returning!
