Amy Horner, PA

Olathe, Lawrence

Ms. Horner graduated with honors from The University of Nebraska with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 1995. She is board-certified, licensed in both Kansas and Missouri.

​

Ms. Horner has vast experience as a Physician Assistant in many areas including Family Practice and Cardiology. She has spent the last 10 years in Dermatology, with an emphasis on preventative care and patient education. In addition to treating patients with acute and chronic dermatological conditions, Ms. Horner is trained in excisions of moles and small skin cancers, as well as surgical closures and the administration of Superficial Radiation Therapy. Ms. Horner is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Dermatologic Physician Assistants.

Ms. Horner enjoys working with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan in order to realistically achieve their beauty and skin care goals. She has been an aesthetic injector of neuromodulators and fillers for 8 years. Her medical and aesthetic experience complement each other to address her patient’s skin care and anti-aging concerns.


Fun Facts: I love travel (beach is my jam), dogs, and hanging out with my family (almost an empty nester with 1 of 5 boys still at home).

Sara Doherty, APRN

Olathe

Ms. Doherty graduated from the University of Arkansas with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016. She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing through the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the  University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2020.

 

Ms. Doherty is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Before starting her career as a nurse practitioner in dermatology, she worked as a registered nurse on a heart and neurovascular unit for five years. Ms. Doherty completed a dermatology fellowship with KMC and is now seeing patients in Olathe.
 

Ms. Doherty is passionate about providing patient-centered care while promoting health at all stages of life. When not working, she loves to spend time outdoors and go paddleboarding with her rescue pup.

Jennifer Latimore, APRN

Olathe, Leawood

Ms. Latimore graduated with honors from the University of Kansas with her BSN, Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner degree, and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She is FNP certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners (SDNP).

 

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Latimore worked as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital, a pediatric travel nurse in San Diego, CA, and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse in Overland Park, KS.

 

Ms. Latimore started as a nurse practitioner in 2009 under the guidance and training of Dr. Joseph Gadzia of KMC Dermatology in Topeka, KS. She then moved to the Overland Park area, furthering her career in urgent care and developing multiple skills before returning to her passion of dermatology.

 

Ms. Latimore has a very active 10-year-old daughter who enjoys playing with their Cavachon puppy, hiking, biking, cooking, water sports, and going on road trips to the Lake of the Ozarks with her. She also enjoys playing tennis.
