Meena Singh, MD
Mission
Dr. Singh is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon. She attended Harvard Medical School, trained at the Mayo Clinic, and completed a surgical fellowship in New York City. From there, she trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Upon completing a fellowship with the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery under world-renowned surgeon Dr. Marc Avram, Dr. Singh trained in all areas of hair transplantation techniques including strip excision, manual/motorized/robotic follicular unit extraction, as well as transplanting into scarring alopecias.
Dr. Singh also specializes in medical treatments for hair loss of all cosmetic and medical types. She is passionate about treating ethnic skin/skin of color. Dr. Singh has performed clinical trials in laser hair stimulation, as well as studies in hair transplantation for scarring and non-scarring forms of hair loss. She has performed investigative studies on skin cancer in transplant recipients, as well as tissue engineering. She has numerous publications in multiple peer-reviewed dermatology journals, book chapters, and has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Additionally, she is a reviewer for the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology and The Dermatologic Surgery Journal, and her blog articles have been published in online periodicals. Dr. Singh was also featured on the cover of New York Times.
Raised in Kansas City before leaving for school, she returned to the KC metro area with her three daughters to serve the needs of this community in her specialized issues of hair and skincare.

Mr. Dean has been in practice since 2002 and joined our team in 2012. Originally from Maryville, MO, he attended Truman State University (Kirksville, MO) and earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University (Downers Grove, IL). Mr. Dean specializes in rashes and particularly allergic contact dermatitis, for which he conducts patch testing for all our Kansas City-area patients. He sees patients at our Mission location.
Fun Facts: "The thing I'm proudest of in my career is becoming a diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. This requires extra training and tests, and is the highest achievement possible for a derm PA. I was the first SDPA diplomate in the KC area."
Andy Dean, PA

Courtney Stene, PA
Mission, Leawood
Ms. Stene graduated from Wichita State University in 2016 as a Certified Physician Assistant, during which she completed a rotation with KMC. Following her graduation, she then completed a one-year dermatology fellowship with KMC and is now seeing patients in Leawood and Mission. Ms. Stene has an excellent bedside manner with a genuine passion for her patients. You will be sure to enjoy her welcoming smile and exuberance.

Ms. Howell graduated with a BS in biology from UMKC in 2013. She worked in the bone marrow transplant unit and oncology for several years. She then attended Wichita State University and received her Masters of Physician Assistant in 2018. Ms. Howell fell in love with Dermatology during rotations. As well as regular dermatology needs, she also does cosmetic injections and procedures.

Heather Howell, PA

Ms. Floyd is a family nurse practitioner board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and has over a decade of nursing experience in a variety of settings, including 6 years as an Army Nurse.
Ms. Floyd completed a dermatology fellowship with KMC and is now seeing patients in Mission and Lawrence. She is thrilled to be caring for others in dermatology, and particularly enjoys preventative care and working with children. Ms. Floyd strives to provide the highest quality care while focusing on making her patients comfortable and well informed throughout their treatment.
