Guess who's back, back again? KMC is back, TELL A FRIEND! That's right folks, KMC's third annual Strollin' for the Colon 5K Run/Walk is back in-person this year on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Remember: this event aims to raise awareness about colorectal cancer and the importance of colon cancer screenings, especially to those who have delayed their care due to COVID-19. All of the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society of Kansas. Please note that although this is an outdoor in-person event, we are requiring face masks to be worn at all times when not running/walking, in accordance with recent CDC guidelines.

Don't forget ‼️ that our GIANT SUPER INFLATABLE COLON TUNNEL will be at the start and end of the race (pictured below in case you forgot what it looked like). 😉

📍 We'll be waiting for you at MacLennan Park Trail, located off 6th Ave and Governors Lake Rd in Topeka, KS. Any last-minute packet pickup or registration will start at 7:45am. Make sure to wear appropriate attire for the pea rock gravel trail and pavement sidewalk. Race starts at 8:30am sharp.

Registration cost is $20. Colon cancer survivors receive FREE registration. Contact Taylor at tcowen@kmcpa.com for more details. Survivors MUST register to participate. For more information, visit www.kmcpa.com/5k.

We can't wait to see everyone this year...we missed seeing you in-person in 2020!

(although your virtual photos were pretty awesome)

There is a fun game called Love tester in which players investigate the compatibility of couples by asking them questions that are both hilarious and unexpected. Players are able to obtain a greater understanding of their own sentiments as well as the feelings of others through the game, which also provides enjoyable moments, fosters creative question choosing, and creates light-hearted moments.

Great cause and awareness event! That inflatable colon tunnel? It reminds me of bizarre scenes from cursed images. Count me in on Sept 11!

It’s great to see this 5K bringing the community together around colorectal cancer screening and supporting the American Cancer Society. For anyone taking a quick post-training break, BVNPlay has browser games with clear controls and version guides. I hope the event continues to grow and reach more people. Thank you for organizing it.

This in-person 5K event is such a meaningful way to boost colon cancer screening awareness and raise funds for the American Cancer Society. I hope you can share post-event highlights and fundraising totals after the race wraps up. Thank you for organizing this impactful community initiative.  --image search
