Dermatology Physicians

Joseph Gadzia, MD

Dr. Gadzia is Board Certified in Dermatology and serves as the Medical Director of the Laser Institute of Kansas. He completed his MD at the University of North Carolina and trained at the Medical Center of Delaware for internal medicine and the University of Kansas for dermatology. Dr. Gadzia is member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has been affiliated with Kansas Medical Clinic since 2000.

Michael J. Kucenic, MD

Dr. Kucenic is Board Certified in Dermatology and Board Certified in Dermatopathology.  He completed his specialty training in Dermatology at the University of Kansas followed by subspecialty training in Dermatopathology at Indiana University.  Dr. Kucenic returns to his home state of Kansas after functioning as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Indiana University.  Dr. Kucenic is a member of the following organizations:  American Society of Dermatopathology and American Academy of Dermatology.  Dr. Kucenic has been affiliated with Kansas Medical Clinic since July 2008.

Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners

Ms. Schmidt completed her BA in biology and chemistry in 1992 and her BS in physician assistant (PA) studies in 1996, both from Wichita State University. Prior to joining Kansas Medical Clinic she worked as a PA in family practice and then in an allergy and asthma specialty practice in Overland Park for 9 years. Ms. Schmidt is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Greater Kansas City Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is able to diagnose and treat medical and dermatological conditions and perform minor surgical procedures in the office.

Ms. Feagan completed her MS in nursing as an ARNP at the University of Kansas in 2000. Prior to joining Kansas Medical Clinic, Ms. Feagan had extensive experience at both St. Francis Health Center and Stormont Vail Hospital in the areas of cardiac rehabilitation, outpatient day surgery, and the intensive care unit. She is a member of the Kansas State Nurses Association, American Nurses Association and Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Feagan has been with Kansas Medical Clinic since 2000 and has focused her expertise in the areas of primary care and dermatology.
